Adolescence is an incredibly formative life phase that is characterized by experimentation with autonomy, identity development, and the pursuit of belonging with peers. Parents and children often find themselves in more conflict during this stage as new patterns of relationship messily emerge.

I work with teenagers who struggle with anxiety (e.g., perfectionism, performance anxiety, social anxiety, OCD), depression (e.g., lack of motivation, isolation, excessive screen time) as well as teens who are showing early signs of dependence on substances and chaotic substance use (e.g., THC cartridges, alcohol, etc.).

Finding the right fit for your teenager is vital, as they will often shutdown or even refuse to attend therapy sessions if trust has not been established between them and their therapist.

I enjoy the process of building rapport with teenagers and forming a truly therapeutic relationship with them. Please feel free to reach out to me today to see if I’m a good fit for your adolescent’s needs!
